ANTM: Time for a Cycle 10
Tomorrow night, less than six months after the last season premiered, Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model kicks off on The CW.
We already knew that Twiggy would be leaving the show, and that similar, former supermodel Paulina Porizkova will be taking over. Other changes for this season include location - the house will be back in New York City, where the show originated before moving to Los Angeles in its fourth run. There is also one more finalist this round, for a total of 14 contestants.

Perhaps Ken Mok, Tyra Banks, and crew will also pick a less controversial winner this time around.
Cycle 9 winner Saleisha has been hotly debated since her first appearance on ANTM in September 2007. Viewers, critics, and generally winy people have been complaining that her win was unfair for more than one reason: she had attended Tyra’s Camp T-Zone for models, she was a year-long, national spokesmodel for Especially Yours wigs, and had appeared in a Wendy’s advertisement. Contracts for the show state that contestants cannot have prior modeling campaigns within the last five years.
With a catch phrase that more than one reality show is pushing this month (”New this, new that, New York!” ), hopefully all of the changes make up for this lack of creativity from the ad department.

[...] Cycle 10 may only be 4 episodes in, but it has already managed to add to - and far surpass - any minor annoyances I previously had with it. [...]
