Bad Fashion Choices Made by Celebrities this Weekend
I enjoy picking out my favorite celebrity looks after a weekend full of red carpet events and paparazzi snapshots. But today I am picking out the looks that I would never wear. If I had a choice, I’d wear sweatpants to a fancy gala over these unfortunate looks.
Nicole Richie went out in West Hollywood Saturday afternoon in a disasterous getup. The only thing about this outfit that I like is her shirt’s print. I cannot get on board with ripped jean shorts, over-the-hair headbands, large sunglasses that need to be pushed up, or this many accessories in general. Plus, what you can’t see in this picture, high heels with shorts. No thanks.
At L.A. Fashion Week’s finale runway show on Friday, Jazmin Whitley, who holds recognition as the youngest fashion designer to show at N.Y. Fashion Week, time traveled with this monstrosity. The shoulder pads that go with nothing and the antique lace that would only work with very modern designs only exasperate the unflattering cut.
Not only did singer Gabriella Cilmi wear one terrible, too small, too shiny dress at today’s ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Awards, but she had a wardrobe change and put on a second terrible, too small, too shiny dress. The sloppy hair and makeup don’t help either.
Again with the lace! Blush Nightclub in Las Vegas celebrated its first anniversary Saturday evening. Stars like Mena Suvari and Laura Prepon showed up looking fantastic. America’s Next Top Model alum Adrianna Curry, however, was less than stylish. Girls that are six feet tall should not wear mini skirts, and no one over age 6 ever need more than one bow per outfit.
