Pictures aren’t far off, but mommy Angie surely needs some time to recover from her C-section first, and the couple’s other four children need time to meet their new siblings.

It’s Hollywood Baby Mania 2008! With babies are being born to celebrities at an exponential rate, it is totally in style to be a parent.

The latest famous birth announced was a 7-pound boy - Levi Alves McConaughey - on Monday, July 7 to Matthew McConaughey, 38, and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, 24.

In case you haven’t been keeping count, here’s a tally of some of the famous babes and their parents.

Hours before Matt’s little one popped in on Monday, Nicole Kidman, 41, and husband Keith Urban, 40, had a baby girl - Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban.

Thursday, June 19, Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, gave birth to baby girl Maddie Briann Aldridge with fiancé Casey Aldridge, 19.

Tori Spelling, 35, and husband Dean McDermott, 41, welcomed Stella Doreen McDermott on Monday, June 9.

Saturday, June 7 was the birthday of Honor Marie Warren, daughter of Jessica Alba, 27, and husband Cash Warren, 29.

February 22 was the day that twins Emme Marbiel Muniz and Maximilian “Max” David Muniz (Muniz is Marc’s given surname) were born to married couple Jennifer Lopez, 38, and Marc Anthony, 39.

Kieran Lindsay Lieberthal was born on January 17 to Julianna Marguiles, 42, and her husband Keith Lieberthal.

On January 12, Max Liron Bratman was born to parents Christina Aguilera, 27, and Jordan Bratman, 31. His name means “our greatest song.”

Less than 24 hours before Max Liron, at the same hospital, Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born to Nicole Richie, 26, and Joel Madden , 29, on January 11.

And as for the twins of Angelina Jolie, 33, and Brad Pitt, 44? Angelina was admitted to the hospital on July 1, but with an August due date the world is still awaiting the latest addition to the Jolie-Pitt crew.

Mark Wahlberg and fiancee Rhea Durham are expecting their third child in September. Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio is also expecting, with boyfriend Jamie Mazur.

Forget about the models on the runway, it was the stars who attended the Gucci fashion show and party today, July 8, in Rome, Italy that wore the outfits to envy.

Let’s start with the very best: Claire Danes. I am equally jealous of Hugh Dancy on her arm and this shiny number that epitomizes grown-up party dress. The photographers clearly agreed as there were dozens of photos of Claire.

Next up: Italian actress Vittoria Belvedere. Figures an chic Italian woman would be better dressed to a Gucci show then some of the models.

And finally, the one that surely stands out in a crowd: Italian actress on the verge of catching Hollywood’s eye Katy Louise Saunders. From the back, I love it. From the front, it is uniquely stunning. But the shoes? I wish she would have thought again.

Out promoting their newly released movie Get Smart in Rome, Italy on Monday, July 7, both Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway pulled off looking mature. Anne, who we usually see dressed down in her previous hits like The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries, appears to have kept the classy, chic haircut from her latest role. Steve, on the other hand, perfectly contrasted his nut-job characters with his handsome, casual look.

As June faded out, so did the lives of two fashion-minded folk. While neither is quite as newsworthy of a passing as Yves Saint-Laurent on the first of June, all death deserves respect and all life, remembrance.

In the afternoon, on Saturday June 28, European Vogue model Ruslana Korshunova, 20, fell from her Manhattan apartment. Her death is under investigation, but for now is being ruled a suicide.

Ruslana, shown in the picture here, was formerly from the Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan, and had appeared in advertisements and on runways for top designers, including Marc Jacobs, Nina Ricci, and DKNY. British Vogue, where she had been a featured cover model, deemed her “a face to be excited about” in 2005.

A few days later, on Tuesday July 1, the founding editor of New York magazine, Clay Felker, 82, died in his New York City home from causes related to his battle with throat cancer.

Felker was revered as a revolutionary figure in the magazine world, particularly with the city-specific genre. His editorial format, bold layouts, and new style of journalism have been the inspiration of several top magazines and editors.

Kate Hudson’s hair product collaboration with her hairstylist David Babaii will make its debut on the Home Shopping Network today, July 3, and will continue to be a featured product throughout the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

The new line is called David Babaii for WildAid, and includes several eco-conscious hair care products and a mission devoted to wildlife preservation.
During the promotional shows on HSN David Babaii will demonstrate how he achieves red carpet hairstyles. Also, Kate Hudson will be calling in to talk about her work with the product and to answer viewers’ questions. All sessions will also be available to view online, at HSN’s Web site.

The line was created to combine two of David and Kate’s top passions in life - “the nature in beauty and the beauty in
nature.” A percentage of the revenue from David Babaii for WildAid will benefit WildAid, a global wildlife conservation organization.

Ashley Judd, who already has her own collection on sale at Goody’s Family Clothing (primarily in the southeastern states), is now introducing her Goody’s customers to something bigger and better.

Ashley Judd Plus is a line similar to her current organic wear, but for the plus-size woman … like her sister Wynonna Judd who has talked about how growing up she battled depression and weight issues related to the fact that Ashley was the “pretty, skinny one”?

As always, a portion of the sales from Ashley Judd’s collections - available exclusively at Goody’s - will benefit Goody’s Good Deeds for Good Schools program.

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, June 19.

The family has not officially announced the birth or name, yet, but a nurse at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center betrayed them and secretly called CNN, who immediately reported it.

Expect pictures and more in OK! magazine - Spears officially announced her pregnancy through this magazine, and is expected to sell the rights to her baby’s first photos to them as well.

With the hubbub over the first ad campaign featuring an endowed-looking David Beckham in tighty-whities starting to die down, Armani goes in for round two.

The fashion master took the soccer master to Malibu Beach, California, and got him, once again, down to his skivvies. But now that Armani knows how the public reacts to a sexy, near-naked Becks, he didn’t just place this one in magazines and on billboards (though you will be able to find it there soon, as well) – it’s on the side of a Macy*s building in San Francisco.

I’m not sure what either of these young singers - Katy Perry and Ashanti - were thinking when they got dressed for MTV’s TRL show on June 9.

Perhaps celebrities see TRL as an opportunity to wear whatever they feel like? Perhaps they decided that feeling cute is more important than wearing something that flatters your figure? Or perhaps an appearance on MTV is not worth spending the money to pay your stylist?

I’m all for 1950s and 1960s fashion … but updated, and fit to flatter.

I love Kate Hudson. I love Stella McCartney. So when Kate caught my eye as the “Look of the Day” on In Style, wearing Stella’s designs to her runway show, I had a moment of pure elation.

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren gave birth on Saturday to healthy baby girl. No specifics were initially told the public, though the little one’s name has now been announced: Honor Marie Warren.

Honor. With a name like that, she can totally be BFFs with True Whitaker. The sentiment is nice, but … Honor? What’s the nickname for that?

When I have a baby I promise to give her or him a classic, real name … like Jane or Oliver. I recommend following this lead, not the Zowie, Zephyr, Kal-El, Ocean, Rumer … Just don’t steal my names, okay?

Although Mischa Barton looks sweet in her fairy get-up at A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival, benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, it seems that she was the only one that got the wear-a-costume memo. Either someone was playing a trick on her, or, I suppose, she was just really in the mood to wear face paint and wings.

I’ll admit to having donned fairy wings in the summer before, but I was 18, with lots of friends, and not surrounded by paparazzi.

She sure had confidence, though, I’ll give her that!
