Today’s Total Makeover Tip:Get Clear With Yourself!
Make a list of the reasons you’re doing this. Make them strong, vibrant reasons! Choose something like “I want to be radiantly healthy!” or “If I don’t lose weight, I’ll have a heart attack and DIE!” Strong language? You bet. Sometimes it takes that kind of tough talk (even a little bit of exaggeration) to trick the brain into playing along with a new program. Use both positive (pleasurable) and negative (painful) reasons. Write them all down and make copies. Stick ‘em everywhere - the fridge, the mirror, your wallet. Remind yourself of your reasons every single day.
