Fashion Auction: Bring Project Runway Designs Home
It seems only yesterday that I was counting down the days until Project Runway Season 4 would be starting, and drooling over the memory of Uli’s gorgeous summer dresses.
Alas, it is now time for the season finale: tomorrow night the fashion week shows of Rami Kashou, Jillian Lewis, and Christian Siriano will air and a winner of Project Runway Season 4 will be announced.
This year, however, I won’t just be drooling over my favorite designs - I can bid on them, too!
The Weinstein Company (as in Mirmax brothers Bob and Harvey) and Delivery Agent have partnered up to provide fanatical Runway viewers the opportunity to own the musings of the season.

Currently, pieces from designers Chris March and “Sweet P” (a final collection not shown on TV!) are available for auction, but only until the season finale begins (Wednesday, March 5). The Hershey’s challenge items are running right now, too, in a separate sale to benefit Young Survival Coalition.
Immediately after the show ends at 11 p.m. EST, more than 35 original garments designed by the final three contestants (Rami, Jillian, and Christian) will go up. These auctions will last just one week, until Wednesday, March 12.
After all of these fabulous fashions find a home, there will be even more to come! The entire winning collection will extend an additional week, remaining up for bids until Wednesday, March 19.
As with any auction where Hollywood is involved, a portion of the proceeds will go to charity. In this case, the benefactor will be the New York-based HOPE Program, career-development help for homeless and welfare-dependent adults.
Not up for spending hundreds of bucks but still want a Runway memento? SHOP THE RUNWAY for featured products such as mugs, sewing machines, makeup, and tee shirts designed by each of the contestants.
