Four Saturday Looks I Want to Steal
Hunting through press shots, photo ops, and all the celebrity pictures from the past week, I’ve chosen four looks from this past Saturday, September 27, that I want to steal. These five women nailed it from head to toe - outfit, accessories, hair, shoes, and all.
Jenny McCarthy, at the Grand Opening of FAO Schwarz, Miami, continued to perfect the hot mom look with a dress that is both unique and flattering - a hard combo to get right. Her hair is tailored yet flexible; her makeup, subtly glamorous, and the shade of green is just right for her coloring. She looks sexy, but appropriate for her age and the event.
Selena Gomez looked adorable as ever at the Amber Watch Youth Coalition Fun Faire in Los Angeles. What I love most about her style here is that she paired her innocent, baby face with a mature, put together outfit that exudes class and responsibility.
At the Chuck Season 2 launch party at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas, Yvonne Strahovski showed all trashy, over-the-top girls how to wear a scanty, shiny tank top: down play your hair and makeup to avoid the hoochie factor. Yvonne’s sleek, neat hair style and pants sandwich the in-your-face tiny tank.
Beach volleyball player Miwa Asao played around at the opening of the White Sand Beach in Oyama, Japan. There are number of reasons why I fell in love with her style for the day: She’s a volleyball player who pulls of athletic chic without showing off her entire body. You can tell she has a toned physique even though she’s not wearing a bikini. She removed her sunglasses to talk to people and pose for pictures. She had fun being her goofy self. With minimal accessories and makeup (if any) her natural beauty shines brilliantly in the sun. And a clean, white tee is always a fantastic choice to wear in the sun.
