Patrick Dempsey: the Next Mr. Versace
Remember when Patrick Dempsey was just the guy that Reese Witherspoon dumped on Sweet Home Alabama even after he closed down Tiffany’s to let her pick out whatever engagement ring that she wanted? 
Today, the actor known more commonly by his character’s nickname - McDreamy - is boding much better with the ladies on Grey’s Anatomy.
He’s also fairing far better career-wise as well. In fact, he was just picked up and photographed (by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino) for Versace’s upcoming men’s spring/summer line.
From interviews and press releases, it sounds like Dempsey is loving his new gig, kissing butt big time as he stated: “I was thrilled to be asked to be the face of the Versace Men’s campaign. It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world’s finest photographers.”
The love fest was mutual, however, as Versace herself said that “Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection - he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes. .. I’m a big fan. So it was a great experience working with him because he is such a talented actor.”
Ahh … it’s seems they’re an Enchanted match made in fairytale heaven.
