Peter Som Turns Out a Bill Blass Collection for the Memory Books
My tendency with each fashion week that comes and goes, is to focus in more on what and whom I don’t like than those that I do. As I have been perusing the collections that hit the runways thus far, however, one has humbled my negative Nancy attitude of late.
The designer collection that made me remember how much I can’t afford, is Bill Blass.
Actually, although is was under the Bill Blass label that these clothes seen here were presented, Mr. Blass himself passed away about six years ago. Many designers have worked on Blass Limited since the loss, but this particular fashion week was being more heavier watched then previous ones.
Peter Som was named creative director for the fashion house in 2007. He has presented on the runway before, but this week was Som’s first entire collection under the Blass name.
