Twiggy Gets Busy: ANTM Finds New Judge
Supermodel Twiggy is apparently highly sought after now that America’s Next Top Model has helped her make a comeback into the spotlight. I’ve loved getting to know the icon that is the
reason women starve themselves to be thin, but now her time has come to an end. Due to scheduling conflicts, the stick-thin model cannot and will not return for another season this fall, for the taping of Cycle 10 of ANTM.
Paulina Porizkova, a Czech-born supermodel, will replace the current Top Model judge on the CW’s hit reality show. Porizkova - who began modeling at the age of 15 - joins current judges Tyra Banks (also creator, star, and executive producer), runway expert J. Alexander (a.k.a. Miss Jay), and fashion photographer (and super hot hottie) Nigel Barker, along with a different special guest judge each week.
Even if you don’t recognize the name, you’ve probably seen her face atleast once. Paulina has been on the covers of hundreds of magazines over the span of two decades, recently competed on Dancing With the Stars, wrote a novel called A Model Summer, and has appeared in several films.

Of Twiggy’s departure from the show after being a regular for five cycles (seasons), executive producer Ken Mok says: “Having an icon like Twiggy lend us her considerable expertise has elevated our show to a whole new level. We wish her well in her endeavors and hope to collaborate with her in future cycles of ANTM as well as other projects.”
Yes, we hear you, Ken, and agree. For I, too, hope to collaborate with Twiggy in the future - she seems kindhearted, perhaps Paulina will be more of a Simon-esque judge.
