Wed Like a Disney Princess
If you’re getting married, and think (or know) that
you are truly a princess, then you must have a look created by couture bridal, suit, and gown designer Kirstie Kelly.
But wait, don’t settle for her regular - albeit gorgeous - drapery. If you are a true princess, then you and your entire bridal party simply must be dressed in inspirations from Disney’s princesses.
The Kirstie Kelly for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collections feature five to seven bridal gowns per princess including Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Snow White.
Though the Disney theme may spark a childhood fantasy, the dresses are still elegant, and suitable for any age bride. The line is like any other bridal couture fashion in that you will find a range of fabrics, necklines, cuts, shades of white, and details - such as beading, lace, appliques, and pleats.
The princess gowns have already seen a huge success since their initial debut in April. Now, the additional offerings for accessories, maids-of-honor dresses, and flower girl dresses have propelled Kelly’s and Disney’s success even further.
Blossoms - the collection for young girls in the bridal party - has an inaugural release of 12 designs. The Maidens Collection allows the
princess bride to select from three to five tailored-to-match bride’s maids designs. Coordinating jewelry and veils can be matched from the Jewels line.
The dresses shown on this page are from Belle’s collection, connected to the princess with this quote: “The Heart, Like a Rose, Blossoms When Loved…” The third picture shows just a hint of the accessory options - tiara and all!
Heck, if I had a reason to wear it, I’d buy one of the Maiden dresses. No one says that you have to be in a wedding to enjoy these.
It’s your day; be a princess if you want to be!

[...] 3. Fairytale lifestyle is apparently more expensive than that of a rock star, because it’ll cost you $60,000 ($5,000 of which will go to St. Jude) to enjoy a Fairytale Weekend. Spend your fantasy weekend in New York City as you create a customized ring with jewelry designer Temple St. Clair, formulate your very own fragrances for him and her with Bond No. 9 founder Laurice Rahme, dine at Gramercy Tavern, and have a private shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue before the store opens. Of course, first class airfare and a suite for two at the Plaza Hotel are all included. Sounds to me like the perfect accessory for the Disney princess bride-to-be. [...]
